Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The house is on a long straight one-way street. At one end is the road down to the railway station (for London) and at the other the entrance to the University Botanic Gardens, which are extensive. There is light traffic but the part of the street we are in is quiet, with no residents opposite. Other houses in the street are either in single ownership or divided into student flats. There are convenient food stores, chemist, post office etc about 500 yards away. The house is close to the centre of town and the university and college buildings. On a bicycle it is 5 minutes to the centre, on foot 20 minutes. There are buses and taxis nearby.
