Our apartment is part of a very charming, handsome chapel conversion, originally built in 1861, in a semi-rural location. The windowsills are as thick as 32 inches in places but the interior is akin to an Australian contemporary brick veneer property. Comprising 2 ensuite bedrooms (one with king size bed, other with queen) plus seperate 3rd W.C. The kitchen is modern and has built in appliances. The entry hall; Lounge/Dining and kitchen have oak timber flooring whilst the bedrooms are carpeted. The whole apartment is centrally heated. There are views of fields through to the local lookout on top of Carn Brea. There is a large paved courtyard and allocated parking for two vehicles.
My name is Sylvia. I used to live and work in the Blue Mountains NSW as a real estate consultant. My family are still located there. My partner Richard worked for Rolls Royce aero-engines, until he took early retirement. We met up again after not having seen each other for 40 years and have been inseperable ever since. We love living where we are, but welcome the opportunity to travel whilst we're young enough to enjoy it. We may be in our mid fifties but feel very young at heart and enjoy long walks and lots of laughter.
Situated less than 2 miles to Portreath beach and beautiful, rugged coastal walks. Tehidy golf course and country park (250acres) aprox half a mile down the road. There is also a leisure centre and a large 24 hour supermarket within 4 minutes drive. Beautiful St Ives, loved by artists for its light and Tate gallery is aprox 20 mins drive away. There are several bird sanctuaries within easy reach. The city of Truro is 10 miles away and the port of Falmouth a similar distance. Penzance and Lands End 30-40 minutes away.
