Our home

Charming 3/4 bedroomed detached chalet bungalow set in south-facing garden with rural views. 2 living rooms and kitchen/diner. Study/4th bedroom, south-facing verandah, patio with garden table and chairs. Solar heated water, open fireplaces. House comfortably furnished with all mod cons. It is a period 1930s house and is largely decorated and furnished with real furniture and rugs. It is light filled with enormous windows in all directions.

Who we are

  1. I am a retired primary schoolteacher and photographer, Ann teaches German and yoga. We have two grown up children who sometimes will holiday with us. We enjoy sailing locally (-use of a 18' sail boat could be included for experienced sailors). Our house is a comfortable family home. We have made several successful exchanges with French and German families and will look after your home as if it were our own.

Brundall is a village 5 miles from Norwich; a historic medieval city with a Norman cathedral and castle. Many and varied restaurants, swimming pools, tennis courts, cinemas and museums. In the Norfolk Broads National Park area (lakes for sailing), bird watching (Strumpshaw RSPB Reserve 2 miles)& walking. Boats can be hired for the day to explore 200+ miles of rivers) 30 mins from coast -Norfolk coast includes 60+ miles of sandy beaches and several coastal resorts. Cambridge 1 hr, London 2hrs. Norfolk is in the driest part of Eastern England, a county full of medieval churches and unspoilt countryside. Brundall itself has grocery store, pubs, restaurant and rail link to Norwich and the coast.
