Our home

My flat is modern, comfortable and clean. It has a good sized double bedroom, a bathroom, adjoining lounge/kitchen and a spacious balcony. The sofa in the lounge converts into a bed so the flat could sleep a maximum of 4 people, although 2 would be more comfortable. It is well equipped and modern in decoration.

Who we are

I'm Catherine. I live alone and I'm a teacher (of Spanish and French). I have never done a home exchange before but I'm keen to make the most of my many holidays as a teacher and this seems the perfect way to visit and get to know a place without spending a fortune on hotels! I would be looking for a simultaneous exchange.

Your neighbourhood

Located in a bustling part of central Brighton. Preston Park is on the doorstep (literally!)and the flat is about a 10 minute walk to The Lanes, great shopping and all the attractions of central Brighton (great bars, pubs, restaurants, theatres, clubs etc). The beach can be reached by a 20 minute walk and the flat is also very close to Brighton station (10 minute walk)where you can get trains to central London (journey time-just under an hour). Alternatively you could enjoy the Sussex countryside as Brighton is within easy reach of the South Downs and great walking opportunities.
