Our home

Our home is a large family house for relaxed living and entertaining. The kitchen dining area has 2 french doors leading onto a terrace and large garden area. There is a full sized trampoline for children and adults!! A gas barbecue and outside dining area for outdoor entertainment. There is a cosy living room with TV and an open fire (logs provided) and a pool room, with a full size pool table. The bedrooms are all double rooms with a very large bed in the master bedroom and doubles in the 3 others. We have a shower room and separate bathroom and WC. It is a lived in house, warm and inviting with a lovely neighbourhood.

Who we are

We are Heather and Rob, we have three sons (16,18,22), our youngest lives at home and the eldest two are in London studying. Rob is a doctor working as a local GP and I am an interior designer and journalist working freelance for Interior magazines. We have not done a home exchange before but we all love travelling and being part of a community rather than tourists, so this appeals to us. We have no set places were we want to go, so open to suggestions.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Ideally located on a wide tree- lined street, leading down to the seafront, were a pleasant stroll takes you into Brighton, a fantastic city (London by the sea) offering restaurants, theatre, clubs and shops. We have a local shopping street with a butcher, baker and fishmonger, it also has a Italian cafe for great coffee, lovely to visit on a Saturday morning There are tennis courts, skate parks, sailing, windsurfing and a swimming pool all within a few minutes walk. The nearby train station is a 55 minute, direct line into the centre of London or a 15minute car journey will take you into the beautiful countryside of Sussex, were there are numerous country pubs and walks.
