Our home

My home is a three bedroom semi detached bungalow in a quiet area. One bedroom has been made into a study and the other two each have a very comfortable double bed. There is a sunroom off the lounge. The kitchen is large enought to eat in. The garden is sunny and private. There is a large deck ideal for sitting in he sun.

Who we are

I am 65 and used to be a further education teacher. I now write poetry and have had two books published.
I used to do house exchange wtih my family when the childen were smaller - they are now grown up.
I plan to do the exchange on my own or with a friend or perhaps with one of my grown up children.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Saltdean is very near Brighon and only 20 mins away from it by bus. My street is about a 6 minute walk from Saltdean beach and a lovely under cliff walk to Rottingdean and then on to Brighton marina.

There is a big coop and green grocer, laundrette, cafe, butcher and post office just around the corner. There is a large park with playground and bowls a few minutes from the house . Saltdean lido which is being renovated is also 5 minutes away.
