Our home

Would you like to spend time in West Sussex, England? Our comfortable and bright house - built in 1909 - is one block from the ocean in the West Side of Royal Bognor (King George V came to convalesce during 1929, the King and Queen actually staying at Craigwell House in Aldwick; as a result, the King bestowed the Regis suffix on Bognor) in one of the most picturesque rural counties in the south. Bognor Regis is the sunniest location in the UK, according to the Met Office, enjoying 1,902 hours of sunshine every year.

Our pretty, light FOUR bedroom semi-detached house in the tranquil western part of Bognor Regis and just a 3-minute walk from the pebble and sand Aldwick beach and park. There are three reception rooms (including a new 33m2/ 360 square feet Kitchen/ Breakfast Room, Playroom & Lounge) and the master bedroom has an en-suite. It has two showers, bath, three WCs and a Laundry Room. Our home has 4 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 8 (It has two large double beds, single sofa bed, three children's beds/cots)

It is a short drive to many quintessential Sussex/ English villages and some of the most outstanding countryside in the whole of the U.K. Only 1 hour 45 minutes to central London and 45 minutes to bohemian Brighton.

There is a sunny garden to the rear and the property with two adult bicycles (one with child seat) and windsurf board/ wetsuits.

• Optional 5 seat people carrier and/or car with child seats available to trade for use of your car.

• Bikes and buggies/ strollers for a car-free days.

• Baby and toddler toys for your children; board games for you.

• Cots, child beds, cribs, baby bottle sterilizing facilities etc can all be arranged.

• Free high-speed broadband wireless Internet access.

• Free WEEKEND calls to all (UK 01 and 02) landline numbers

• 30-channel recordable Digital 48” LCD TV, DVD recorder/ player & VCR.

• NAD & JPW stereo system with radio and iPod/MP3 dock

• 3 minute walk to nearest beachfront access (where we windsurf), putting green, ornamental gardens, playgrounds and parks. This is where the film: 'Wish You Were Here' - which was loosely based on the life of Cynthia Payne - was filmed. http://www.arun.gov.uk/cgi-bin/buildpage.pl?mysql=1258

Who we are

  1. We are a friendly young family (both professional teachers) with two girls (8 & 11) & a five year-old boy.

Clean, tidy and respectful - we've done 12 (twelve) successful houseswaps (five of which included a car exchanges with airport swap!) to Canada, Denmark, France (six times), Spain, England, Australia and in 2016 - Holland. We are happy to send you references from these swaps.

We enjoyed our first one in Canada so much we got married while we were there...
