Our home

Our flat is a basement flat, in a Georgian conservation area in London. It is not lavish, but has everything you may need, and is very comfortable. The lounge has DVD and stereo - but not free to air TV. There are many books! And a large sofa, and comfortable armchair. The bedroom has comfortable bed, and a door out to the garden. It is split level so there are a few steps up to the bathroom, and kitchen, which has doors out into the garden. In the garden there are lots for vegetables and fruits growing.

Property features

Who we are

  1. Our names are Simon, Kate and Robin. Kate is a doctor, and works for a charity, Simon is a cycling instructor, and Robin is a beautiful baby - now 3 months old. We went to the beach last summer - and are trying to ensure that we have a holiday on the beach each year. We love the sea, and hence would like to spend some time near the sea while we are on holidays - over the summer for a couple of weeks from the end of July - end of August. We'd love to be able to walk to the sea and not have to rely on a car.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live in East London East London is quite a trendy place to be - and there are many places to go in walkign distance such as the Bangldeshi restaurants of the famous brick lane. Also there is the very popular spitalfeilds market, and the famous flower market on Columbia Road. It is also possible to walk to Vicotria Park - and to the river Thames - it takes about 20 - 30 minutes to walk to all these. We are close to the City of London - or the suare mile - with buidings such as Llloyds Bank, and the Gherkin - the Swiss Rea building. We live 2 minutes from Stepney Green tube station - which means you can travel further around London very easily. It's easy to get to all the museums and galleries such as the Tate Modern, The National Gallery and other restaurants, and sites - the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, St Pauls Cathedral and many others. We are 15 minutes walk from Bethnal Green. The area is quite cosmopolitan - and has a large muslim community. There are supermarkets aroumd the corner. It is a really convenient place to be - and to explore London from.
