Our home

Our lovely house is a former Threshing Barn which has been converted to provide an easily maintained home with a large entrance hall complete with Grand Piano.

The accommodation comprises of a large open-plan kitchen/dining room, a comfortable lounge with electric log burner, high ceilings with some original features and large doors into the garden. A separate shower and bathroom both with wc and hand basins.

Excellent decorative order throughout, with stunning views across local countryside. The garden is well established, private and very sunny with very little upkeep and no mowing required.

Who we are

  1. We are Carol and Barry Gough both very active and into our retirement.

Carol spends many hours painting in watercolor and interior decorating . Barry is a former music teacher and still plays regularly as a key part of several big bands.

Having done several exchanges our swaps have all been successful, remaining friends with many of the people we have exchanged with.

We care for our house and would do the same for any swap we were to undertake. We would endeavour to help you in any way possible .

We are also interested in exchanging in England as well for short breaks.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The Barn is nestled within a small rural village which has extending views to the local countryside. There are many walks available in the local area and the ancient town of Ludlow is within easy reach. Shrewsbury and Hereford are about 26 miles away.

A visit to Wales is a short drive passing through yet more beautiful country side.
