Our home

The house was built in 1975. The accommodation is very comfortable and well laid out. On the ground floor there is a hall, dining room, lounge and kitchen plus dining area. Off the hall there is a clock room with WC and shower. On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms, one of which is used as office/computer room, the other three bedrooms all have double beds. The bathroom was refitted about 5 years ago, it has a bath, power shower and WC. At the front of the house is parking for 3 cars and at the back a private garden.

Who we are

We are Nigel and Alison and have lived in Bangor all our lives. We have two daughters who live in Dublin and a son in Perth,WA. We are members of the local golf and bridge clubs and would be happy to make access arrangements at either if of interest to anyone staying here. We have a 10 year old Jack Russell, which we usually put in kennels when away but if anyone was keen to have a companion for the many fine walks nearby we would be happy to discuss.

Our home is well located in one of the best suburbs in Bangor, close to all amenities. A big plus factor is a coastal walk within 300 meters of the house. A railway halt to Belfast/Dublin is only 200 meters away. By car to Belfast is 20 minutes and Dublin 140 minutes. Belfast City Airport, the main link with UK and flying to some European destinations is only 15 minutes away. Belfast International Airport is 40 minutes away and Dublin Airport just under 2 hours by car.
