Our home

We live in a semi-detached house which we have extensively renovated and converted. It has beautiful views of woodland from the back of the house and a good-sized garden with patios to sit at and a firepit. The front is also open to fields. Good sized living accommodation and very light - faces south east and gets the sun from the back in the morning round to the front in the evening.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Ashurst Wood is the village we live in, two miles south of East Grinstead which is a good sized town for shopping. East Grinstead also has the direct train to London. A 20 min drive will get you to Gatwick airport. Brighton and the south coast is a 50 minute drive through lovely countryside. We are also ten minutes' drive away from Ashdown Forest, home of Winnie-the-Pooh and the Hundred Acre Wood. Extensive beautiful walks from the house as far afield as you would like. Open countryside within five minutes of leaving the house on foot. Lots of family attractions for days out and we will leave you maps and information.
