Our home

Our home was built in 2001 on the site of an old cottage. It is modern in design, spacious, light and airey.
On the ground floor we have an entrance hall, kitchen, sun room, dining room, sitting room, office, utility room and cloakroom.
On the first floor we have three bedrooms. The master has king sized bed, vaulted ceiling, balcony and en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has a king sized bed and the third has a single bed. There is a family bathroom with bath and separate shower.
We do not talk about the second floor - the rooms are full of boxes and junk!!
All rooms have lovely views across farmland and fields.
Outside there is parking and a double garage, a large lawn with flower beds, and a large terrace.

Property features

Who we are

  1. We are Graham (54) and Rowan (46), a married professional couple with no children. Graham is a retired Company Director, and Rowan is a Specialist Nurse working for the NHS. We have 2 cats (who will also go on holiday while you stay) .
We enjoy travel. Well actually, we dont enjoy the traveling so much these days, but we do enjoy the 'being there'. Who likes airports?
We are exchange virgins, although we have rented villas many times and also owned a holiday home. We are careful, considerate, clean and tidy, and respect the property of others. We are looking for a true home from home experience.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live on the edge of a Common, which is a large area of land open to the public for walking. On our other side are fields and farmland. The area is quite flat, which is good for walking and the views are large. There is a small town 5 minutes drive away which has restaurants, pubs and some shops. There are two historic large towns 10 minutes drive away, and the city of Norwich is around 15 minutes drive. Norwich has a large number of restaurants, pubs, clubs, theatres, cinemas, museums and shops.
There are a number of historical sites, castles, country houses and nature reserves to explore within easy driving distance. Also nearby is the coast, and the Norfolk Broads (man-made areas of connected water for sailing and boating).
Norwich has a small regional airport, but with regular flights to Amsterdam for those who wish to avoid London airports - a good alternative.
