Our home
This is a very modern house in an award winning new mews with excellent tube and bus connections [zone 2] in vibrant Islington. Very easy, secure, accessible and luxurious urban living. This is a small mews of 14 houses secure and gated. We have three double bedrooms two with en suite and one with a separate bathroom. The ground floor living room opens up onto the rear garden. We have a car which is available for a car swap with secure parking.

Who we are

We are both architects around 50 with two children - 25 years old and 19. I am from Sudbury [Ontario] and Amanda is from Liverpool. The kids are Londoners. We are very keen and adventurous travelers who wish to step into the life of another place, integrating into another city or place. We are looking for some where in Toronto for one week from Monday May 11th to Sunday May 17th we will be there for our neice's wedding so are looking for somewhere that can sleep up t six people and also for somewhere in Chicago the following week starting May 18th this would only be for two or three people - but we would be interested in hearing from anyone with an interesting place. Pet swap considered.

Across the street from a beautiful park surrounded by Georgian houses and within walking distance of great restaurants and nightlife. The west end is twenty minutes away. Bus stop 30 seconds from your front door direct to the Tate Modern, Barbican, City and West End. An area where people live but very close to the centre of town. Great food shopping. Live as a Londoner. We also have a chapel that we converted into a second home in Snowdonia National Park in north Wales. Stone built in about 1830 about 3 miles from the coast [Cardigan Bay] in a lovely mountain area. Big fireplace, very cosy [about 1000 sqf] sleeps 6. There are great walks from the front door with views over the estuary and the sea. Historic castles [Harlech] mountain biking and lots of other country pursuits! About 200 miles from London but in another planet.
