Our home

We have lived in our 'village' home for 5 years.
It has everything we need as a couple, without all the stuff we seemed to pack into our house in England! If you are wanting hot tubs, jacuzzi, sauna etc. this is not for you.
But if you want privacy without being isolated, peace and quite, wonderful clean air, drinking water from the mountains, surrounded by pine forest this could be for you!
We have air con. shower room with wc, another wc with wash basin, 2 bedrooms, 1 double, 1 twin. Kitchen/diner/sitting room. Two balconies to watch the stars on an evening, no light polution here, absolutely fantastic! Huge garden with olives, grapes, figs cherries, pomegranete pears. We are situated in the hills above Fethiye.

Property features

Who we are

  1. English married couple in our fifties. Retired but not yet ready for the knackers yard! Still love to travel and spend anything from 3-6 months per year travelling. House swap will give us the opportunity to carry on doing that. Open to any destinations for any lengh of time, we are adventurious!

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Twenty minutes drive from the house and you could be swimming in the Mediterranean, or in the other direction walking through huge pine forests in the mountains. Fethiye is on the coast and has numerous restaurants and bars along the promenade. It also has a marina from which you can visit the nearby islands. It's possible to be in Greece within 1 1/2 hours. You can dive, snorkel, fish. If you want to visit ancient archeological sites, this is the place 'the cradle of civilisation' too many to list all within 1 hours drive. The world famous Ölu Deniz beach is close by. And to see it at its best drive to the top of Baba Da? mountain the highest in the region and get the view the hang gliders do!
We have an Automatic Toyota Rav 4 to make sure you see as much as you can while you are here.
