Our home

Our apartment is homely with made to order tasteful furniture. It has one double and two single beds; it is spacious and comfortable but quiet, with picturesque views from the front and back gardens, and terraces. Our neighbours are friendly and inviting, we keep in touch even when we are away. The promenade is a stone throw away, crafts shops in the centre and Çalış beach are within walking distance, while boats to spots of natural beauty and busses to historic places run frequently.

Property features

Who we are

  1. We are Seniha, Hasan, our 2 lovely daughters and their partners. We live in London; and bought our apartment in Fethiye when we retired from teaching. We have not done a home exchange before but we are keen to share what sounds a great experience, our home and local knowledge. We are non-smokers and able to exchange almost all year round, but would prefer February-April or September-November inclusive.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Fethiye is a pretty town at the hillside of Mount Mendos with numerous bays embracing each other along its shores. It is only 50mins. Drive from Dalaman airport. A motorway connects Fethiye to Kaş, Antalya and Side to the East and Köyceğiz, Dalyan and Marmaris to the West. On a warm sunny winter day or summer afternoon you can while away enjoying traditional Turkish coffee or tea at cafés along the promenade, watch the snow and mist at the summit of mountains, and wave at the boats passing by.
