Our home

Our home is a comfortable and spacious apartment on the second floor of a big 1930s house at the bottom of a hill. Old wooden floors and terracotta tiles and the many colours (due to trips to India) give the appartment a mediteranean note. It has a small but cosy kitchen with view on the garden and a big dining room with view on the lake. From the terasse you can watch the sunset over the city. There are two bedrooms and a room with a sofa where two people can sleep. We have two cats, Zulu und Cheetah, who need to be looked after which means letting them in and out through the front door, feeding and cuddling them of course.

Who we are

  1. We are Muriel (44, french and swiss) and Marc (49, dutch), a married couple. Muriel works as fundraiser for an environmental organisation and Marc is an independent management consultant. Marc has 4 sons, aged 12 to 18, who stay with us regularly. We are both interested in sustainablilty, try to buy and eat organic and use our legs, bicycles or public transports to move around. Marc loves sailing and Muriel Yoga. We have so far had one experience with home exchange and we loved it.
