Our home

Our house is situated on a mountainside with a garden and a living room with a spectacular view onto the Rhein valley. It is a solid stone house built in the 1930s with modernized inside equipment (new kitchen and bathroom being installed in winter 07) and lino floors. We offer the first and second (=top)floor plus the garden which is a wonderful place where you can relax, eat, meet neighbours etc. In the living room we've got sofa, TV, stereo, and on the top floor we have a balcony from which you can enjoy wonderful sunsets.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We are located in the town of Chur (ca. 30'000 inhabitants), 10 mins from the town centre, and yet in a quiet area above the town. Chur is a hub for the mountainous part of Switzerland, also culturally interesting with three languages (German, Italian, Rumantsch), and it's only a two-hour drive from Northern Italy. The river Rhein has its source in this area, and there are several lakes nearby. And of course you have also got fast train (or car) connections to Zurich or the Bodensee area. Plenty of fascinating things for people interested in sports, culture, hikes etc.
