Our home

The house in which our flat is, ist about 80 years old. There is a living room, our daughter usually sleeps in the room next to it. Upstairs in the mansarde we have our little home-office. This room also serves as a guest room. The bedroom is quite large. The kitchen runs to a large balcony which we often use in summer. It is a simple but charming flat with wooden floor. We habe old an new furnitures and like to be in our home.

Who we are

  1. We are a young family. Our daughter is a serene child, she is one year old and has already some travel experiences since we have been to South Italy and to Berlin with her.
Hans-Jörg works as an architect and Antonia part-time as a manager of a small cultural center. We have both been exchange students and are used to travel. We are very interested in art and design. We also like to discuss and to read. We live a simple live and enjoy cooking, eating and to see our friends.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live in a quite area where many families live. The center of the town can easily reached within only some minutes, Basel is a pretty town well known for its cultural scene. There are many museums, concerts, small cafes and restaurants. The old town has been built in the medievaltime and its nice to take a look at the center. In summer many people take a swim in the Rhine-river which runs trough the city.
