“This August we had the pleasure to stay for two weeks at Monika and Hans-Peter's place. Their apartment is located in a quiet and beautiful suburb of Baden. There is a supermarket within walking distance and a very nice forest nearby. We could easily travel around as the place is well-connected. Switzerland is really beautiful and there is plenty to do - you could be swimming in the Zurich lake and enjoying the summer on one day while on the next day you could be playing in the snow at 3000m above the sea level and enjoying amazing views from the Titlis mountain! The apartment is spacious and has everything you need. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Monika and Hans-Peter's son, Patrick, with a delicious cake! The two cats are very friendly and easy to take care of. When we returned back home we were happy to find our place exactly as we left it. We really enjoyed our stay!!!”

“During the summer of 2012 we had a wonderful warm and sunny holiday in Switzerland. We really enjoyed our stay at Monica and Hans Peters house which is based very close to all different kinds of summer activities. We went swimming in one of the very nice and clear Swiss lakes, saw waterfalls, enjoyed a thermal bath and went mountain hiking - all between 10 min and 1 hour drive from the house. The two cats Gipsy and Ronja were very friendly and very easy to look after. Thanks for a nice and enjoyable holiday.”

About me
I am Monika (61) IT specialist and lecturer; I’m curious and like to travel with my bike through Europe. However, I am no wild rocker, but interested in art, theater and music. In addition, I love to dance. I can only travel when my school has holiday break, so I’m unfortunately not flexible with the dates. I have three grown children (multi-lingual) and a six-year-old grandson who all live within 50 km. Previously my youngest son looked for the cats and the house with its plants, while I was on vacation. But I find the idea of Home Exchange is interesting; I have already heard many positive things about it, and made some really successful exchanges since 2012. My residential community includes 2 cats, now 6 years. They are very nice and easy, but it is advisable not to leave any food unattended around ...
Usually, they get fresh food once a day from the can, but it is not a problem to leave them 2-3 days to themselves, if the dry food containers and water bowls are filled. Through the cat flap, they can at any time in the house and help themselves.
I speak German, Danish, English and French.Number of travelers: 1-2
