Platja d\'Aro is a very touristic town but the flat is in a nice and quiet area and we had just to cross the street to find supermarkets and shops... We just to thank Marta. Célia and family”

“We stayed in Marta´s and Xavier´s second home during our summerholiday and we really enjoyed the time we spent on the balcony as well as in the swimming pool below. The apartement was very practical and nice and we instantly felt at home. The place is well located in the center and all in walking distance. We had pleasant contacts with the family before and during the stay. They left us a lot of maps and good informations and directions. Our children enjoyed the beaches and the out and indoor amusement parks. The family were respectful and took care of our home and the car swap worked also very well. “This summer we did a exchange with Marta and her family. We absolutely recommend to make an exchange with them. They are very helpful and nice. Their apartment is beautiful, clean and tidy. We loved the pool, and with just 5 min to the beach we enjoyed swimming a lot. The city center is nice, and just a short walk from the apartment. We also enjoyed using their bikes, and were able so see very nice parts of Platja D`Aro. We stayed in touch with them by mail and sms during our stay, and that was both helpful and nice. I will absolutely recommend you to make an exchange with Marta and her family in Platja D`Aro.”

“Marta, Jon - with Arnaud and Berta too! - made us feel relaxed and confident in our family adventure to a beautiful part of the Costa Brava. The logistics went well - aided by regular email communication. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Platja D'Aro is a lively resort, but the apartment is situated near to the marina (Port D'Aro), which is the best part of town. The apartment is sleek, modern and stylish. Easy to live in (and get used to enjoying also). A short walk to the main beach, and only a moderate walk to Sa Conca beach...a busy little gem. The apartment complex has a lovely pool - which was well used by our 6yo son. At twilight, it is on the flightpath of a number of hunting bats - if you have wildlife-fascinated children, bobbing in a pool as bats dive around you, is a magical experience! Overall, this has been a superb experience...and, now that we've discovered this part of Spain, we'd love to return. Thanks to Marta and family, we have had a perfect holiday exchange. Very highly recommended!”

“We had a great week in Platja D’aro! Easy Jet has several budget flights to Girona (closer airport than Barcelona!) from where we took Marta & Jon’s car to Platja D’aro. Our children loved the swimming pool and there are several nice beaches in the area. The apartment is nice and on the balcony you can read your book and see the kids having fun in the pool! The apartment itself is comfortable and very suitable for a family and we enjoyed staying there. The apartment is in a quiet part but if you want to shop or go out it is only a short walk. Marta and Jon gave us many useful maps and tips including their favorite restaurants in the area. We tried several and they were all great and easy to combine with nice walks, beaches, places etc. We highly recommend this exchange and we would love to exchange again with this friendly family in the future.”
