Our home

Our house is very well lit and roomy. There is a garden and a terrace perfect for lunching outside in the shade of the vines or having a barbecue in the summertime. There is also a separate sun room on the terrace to enjoy the best times of the day and night. There is also a cellar with a fireplace, used more in winter than summer of course. This house is ideal for families with children. We have three ourselves, so there are plenty of toys and bicycles available.

  1. We are Ezequiel and Raquel and our three children, Marina, Jorge and Millán, who are 17, 15 and 11 years old. We teach secondary education, specifically Maths and Economics. All the experiences have been fantastic. We speak a little French and English, and we'd like to meet people interested in a house exchange through email and online chat. Our children are very respectful and well behaved.

Our house is in the city of Zamora. http://www.conocerzamora.com/album.htm

With a population of 70,000, Zamora is a nice, quiet city with a collection of the best of Spain Romanesque monuments. Our house is a 10 minute walk from the main square and 3 minutes from the cathedral and the historical part of town. Within a half hour stroll, you will find Zamora's most important museums, cafes, bars, and pools, and in summer, festivals and spectacles in the streets. There is a wooded park nearby, about 2 minutes walking where you can walk or play sports. There is also a bike path the runs through the forest and along the river Duero. The province of Zamora is a very well done and diverse part of the country, with places such as the Sanabria lake, the Arribes del Duero Natural Park, The Nagunas de Villafáfila Natural Reserve, Sayago, Tierra del vino, etc. Also there are many major cities close by, including Salamanca (30 min), León (60 min) and Madrid (2 hours by car or 1,5 h by train) with its rich culture and artistic heritage. Zamora is famous for the wines of Toro and for its goats-milk cheeses, and the people are very pleasant and warm.
