Our home

Our home is situated in the heart of the City of Vigo blessed with beautiful views of the the Atlantic Ocean set in a quiet newly developed apartment building. Being this central makes it a pleasant walking distance to all amenities, shops and places of local interest. The city is very well serviced by public transport and is easily discoverable on foot.

Who we are

I am a French teacher at a local secondary school, my husband runs an artisan Wrought Ironworks and we are the proud parents of a three old daughter. We are looking for a family break in England as it is a place we feel we have not yet explored. We are looking for a cultural break with the pleasantness of a semi rural setting though close enough to a city of great interest. My family are also involved in organic and free range livestock farming-and it would be a pleasure to offer you my home fully stocked with an abundent supply of fine vegetables and products for the duration of your stay.

Your neighbourhood

Our neighbourhood consists of a comfortable and contrasting blend of city life-nestled between the commercial/financial district, a fine street of tabernas/restaurants and the port. Vigo is a city that also boasts a lively beach only 4km from the city centre at Samil. The jewel seaside town of Baiona is only 25km away and the mystical and spiritual city of Santiago de Compostela is 70km. A convenient motorway also links us to Portugal a mere 30km away. The weather during July and August is very pleasant and thanks to a micro climate our temperatures stay tolerable refershed by cool Atlantic breezes. The nearest Airport is Vigo Airport-8km away, followed by Santiago-70km and Porto in Portugal-80km.
