Who we are

  1. We are a couple in the sixties, responsible and careful with things. Both of us have a university degree and we like spending our free time learning new things, visiting interesting places and enjoying trying new tastes from different gastronomy. Since we have now more free time due to the fact that our children are already adults, we want to take advantage of our leisure time and we are really interested in receiving exciting offers.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Cottage is Castile, an extensive region which forms the central portion of Spain. The origin of the name is a matter dispute, but it is more than probably derived from the fortified castles (Castillos), built first by the Romans, and afterwards by the Christians to defend the northern regions which they had conquered from the Moors. Only in Castile there are about 2000 castles. The house is situated twenty Km. drive from Ávila and near some other important Castilian towns like Segovia, Salamanca (these three towns are named World Heritage cities by UNESCO) and some villages with tourist interest as for example Medina del Campo, Arévalo etc. advisable for people interested in art, culture and Castilian landscape. At a distance of 50 Km. we can find the peaks of sierra de Gredos or Guadarrama appropriated to hiking and enjoying the nature.
