Our home

The apartment is part of our old restored Masia , it is on the outskirts of Valencia 15mins to the city center and the beach, it has a pool and lots of covered seating, a garden with a trampoline and many fruit trees. The kitchen is 9 meters long and is my favorite place as it is great for entertaining it has a range cooker and everything else you could want. The house is very private as it has a walled garden/patio/pool area. We are a family of 4 we don't smoke, we love our home and hope you will too. There are nice views, it is a very quiet area although there are houses arround.

Property features

Who we are

  1. We are Steven (engineer) and Tina (English language teacher) we have three children but our eldest is living in the U.K. our other children are Darson(14) and Lana(12) we love travelling and are keen to see countries and places that we would not have thought of visiting. We have never exchanged before and are quite excited to see what comes up!
We are all English but have been living in Spain for the last 8 years so we class this as home.
We think we are tidy and considerate people and love animals, we have a small yorkie called Sniffy, depending on where we go and who we exchange with we may leave him at home.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Because the house is so close to the city there are many possibilities for entertainment: cinemas, theatre, art and science centre, incredible new music palace, historic buildings, sea life centre, amex cinema and more bars/restaurants than you could possibly count! Then there is the beach, well lots of beaches depending if you want busy and tourists (Cullera)quiet and unspoilt Puiz or with restaurants and locals (marverossa). Near the house is the end of the river Turia, good for fishing and has an area for b-b-qs and childrens play area. There is golf, horseriding, tennis and the Cheste race circuit nearby. There are also endless small typical Spanish towns arround where the pace of life is slow and very relaxing.
For the teens there are night clubs and of course when in Spain the children always go with you to dinner, bars etc. The local bar/restaurant is just down the road and serves very good food. The nearest supermarket is in the town (Riba-Roja) this will take about 7mins by car to reach, there is also a video store in the town which you are able to use, the house does have English sky and Spanish local T.V. Please contact me for any other information. This year the city is hosting the Americas Cup so the port is a great place to visit.
