Our home

Our house is Spanish style villa, completely refurbished in the last five years. It stands in 1000 sq mtrs of terraces and a garden full of exotic plants including orange, apple, avocado and mango trees. Together with many diferent kinds of flowering plants and varieties of Palm Trees from all over the world. The house is all on one level but with a garage under the property. There is a large lounge/dining room, a modern kithen and two en-suite bedrooms. Outside there are large tiled terrace areas, a swimming pool with exercise jet and a small detached house with another nice en-suite bathroom. The house is surrounded by high walls but overlooks the sea and has a remote controlled electric gate.

Who we are

  1. We are Keith 64, a company director and Nora 58 a housewife. We have lived in Tenerife for over 9 years. We are both English and like to travel. We hope to travel much more when I retire next year. We are not back packers or mountain climbers but like places with culture, scenery and good, diverse dining as well as interesting people. We have family in New Zealand and hope to visit Australia/New Zealand sometime soon. We are non-smokers and love animals. We have not house-swapped before.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We are situated in the green NORTH of Tenerife, very different to the mass tourism of the South with it huge numbers of British bars and clubs. We live in a small laid-back town about 20 kms from the capital Santa Cruz. It is very Spanish, close to all the attractions, museums, and the old 16th century capital of La Laguna. There are many bars, cafeterias and restaurants in our village all serving good food from "tapas" to fine dining. The world famous Loro Parque (Parrot Park) with its Dolphin and parrot shows and much more is less than 15 minutes drive away. Our urbanisation of less than 40 houses, no two the same and built over the last 40 years is the most tranquil and beautiful on the island. The town is less than a 10 minute walk away.
