Our home
Our house is an old house built with the typical architectonical style of the region (100 m²) and, we have made some building works in the last few years so, the house is now a cosy and comfortable place on the side of a hill with a gorgeous view over the mountains and the sea.
We have also a small terrace outside the house where it is possible to have sun bathes.
The house has two buildings: the house with: an equipped kitchen with a gas cooker and a fridge, the dining-room, the TV-room with a small library. There is a bedroom with a double bed and another one with two single beds. There is also a bathroom and a food store.
In the other building, there is the barbecue with all furniture to have a meal and a small toilet with a shower.
Cinemas, supermarkets, shopping-centres, etc. are 14 km from the village but, there is also a small grocery next to the house, a restaurant, bus stop, public phone and a terrace-bar by the sea.
There are 2 airports in the island: Tenerife Norte « Los Rodeos » 22 km and Tenerife Sur « Reina SofÃa » 70 km from the house.

We are a couple, Manuel & Bella. I am a French teacher (32 years old) and my husband is a technologic teacher (37 years old). We live 20 km far from our 2nd home, in a small city called La Laguna. We love nature, walking, reading and meeting people. This is our first home exchange so, we are very excited about this new experience.

Our second home is located 14 km from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the capital of the island, in a small town called: IGUESTE DE SAN ANDRÃS on the North coast, 100 km from Costa Adeje (a tourist resort on the South of the island) and 100km from the TEIDE, the highest mountain in Spain (a big volcano in the middle of the island). Our geographically situation keeps us isolated but, at the same time, we can visit the whole island without any problem, since this is not a big region and there are a lot of places to see.
There are many activities to make: climbing, diving, fishing, surfing and windsurfing, walking and it is also possible to visit some other islands: Gran Canaria, La Gomera, La Palma, etc.
