Our home

We offer a beautiful attic on the beach, in Sant Carles de la Rapita, near Tarragona/Barcelona. We have two double bedrooms, one living room(with a sofa where 2 people can sleep), a kitchen and a bathroom. There is a big terrace(60m2)where you can see the mountain and the sea. There is a swimming pool. We have a parking and two bikes.

Who we are

We are a young family: Roger(2), Meritxell(34) and Francesc(35), a married couple. We are Nurse and Civil Engineer and enjoy travelling when able to get away. We have not done a home exchange before but are keen to try what sounds a great way to see another country as a resident. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in our country.

Sant Carles de la Rapita is in the south of Ebre Delta, offers an ideal mix between sea and mountains. This has turned the city into a strategic point from wich you can easily visit the delta and its surroundings. It's near of the citys of Tarragona, Barcelona and Valencia. It's famous for their gastronomy with fish, shellfish and rice. It has a important seaport and marina. You can practice water sports in the river and in the sea.
