Our home

Our home is situated on a hillside overlooking the sea. It is tucked away at the end of a lane and has lovely veiws. The sea is just at the bottom of the hill, a half a kilometre walk from the house.
Inside the house is light, airy and practical. It has patio doors opening from the lounge and kitchen onto the terrace. There are four bedrooms available all with en suite shower rooms. Three bedrooms have double beds, and the fourth, two singles. Outside we have a terrace with a pool and BBQ.
Within the grounds there is a small apartment which we rent out for holidays. Guests in the apartment share the drive, but the apartment has it's own separate entrance.The apartment can be used for non simultaneous exchange.See our website homepage for details of the apartment.

Who we are

We are a family of five. Richard, myself (Marina),daughter Kayley,and teenage sons,Scott and Danny.
Richard works in London and commutes to Spain weekly, Kayley and Scott are both at universities in England and may or may not travel with us.
Danny is still at school here in Spain so our travel plans are generally restricted to school holidays.
We also have two friendly dogs. While we would like to be able to leave the pets at home they can be boarded out if you would prefer.
We are particularly interested in an exchange near to our home town of Grantham, Lincolnshire during Christmas or New Year. We would also like to visit Thailand during 2009.
So far we have done three exchanges which have all worked out very well.
We look forward to hearing from anyone interested in an exchange with us.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We live in a quiet neighbourhood on the edge of a village. There are plenty of shops and resturants nearby as well as a lovely beach and paseo. The towns of Nerja and Torre del Mar offer more in the way of nightlife and these are easily reached, being only a fifteen and ten minute drive away.
As we are only minutes from the motorway, we are ideally situated for anyone wishing to explore the delights of Southern Spain.
Unlike many of the coastal areas and the larger resorts, this area still very much has a Spanish feel to it and is a popular destination for Spanish holiday makers.
