Our home

I offer a small but lovely and cosy "two-storey" studio apartment (loft structure) at the very heart of Madrid. You will be amazed to see how good the distribution is: on the "ground floor" there is the living-room with two sofas (one of them can be used as an extra bed), carpet, TV, Hi-Fi..., one nice bathroom and a quite spacious, kitchen separate from the living room, with all domestic apliances. Also a dressing room with three wardrobes, plus many drawers and a shoe department: you won´t have any problem storing your clothes, there is lots of room!
On the "upper floor", there is the bedroom, with a queen-size bed, and two extra storage cupboards.

The two windows in the living-room look out onto a traditional Madrid courtyard ("corrala"). The house is located in one of the liveliest neighbourhoods in Madrid, Malasaña, yet it is very quiet because it doesn´t face directly the street.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Malasaña is an area of Madrid famous for its trendy, hip, alternative scene, a vibrant neighborhood full of lively bars and clubs overflowing with young people. Centred around Plaza Dos De Mayo, it is reminiscent of Camden Town in London, although the layout is quite different and the emphasis is less on shops and more on bars. Its streets have just been renovated, making it a much more attractive quarter. It's one of the classic areas for partying the night away. The hedonistic and cultural wave, known as "la movida madrileña", which took place during the 80´s, with Pedro Almodovar as its most celebrated artist, originated in Malasaña.

The area is at the very center of Madrid, near most of the museums, shopping areas and places of interest. Forget about the tube or the bus: everything is within walking distance!
