Our home

30 Years ago a rich lover of nature carved a complex of 6 fishermen houses for his children into the rocks of his private beach. Therefore, the situation and the comfort are unique and not repeatable nowadays.
Our home consists of three floors - all with terraces facing the beach/sea under a big palm tree. Floor 1: is formed by the entrance, living (with fireplace), dining and kitchen in one open area. Furthermore, there are 1 guest WC and a small patio to the kitchen.
Floor 2: has two bedrooms with a bathroom, each (suites) and a large storageroom.
Floor 3: (with separate entrance) consists of a boat garage and a small apartment - however reserved for the exclusive usage of the owner (when we occasionally arrive by boat to the mooring in front of the house).
The house is equipped with a gas heating system and the bedrooms with airconditioning. The windows and doors to the beach are provided with triple glas in order to keep out noises from the waves or people on the beach (in summer). All accesses to the house are secured for break-ins. Furniture and decoration are right for the leisure and beach atmosphere (like the many corners for placing the hammocks).
A private parking is just over the house, connected by stairs. The house is situated in a private and guarded urbanisation with access only to the owners. From the barrier of the urbanisation at the scenic road Tossa (3km) - Lloret (4km) it is 1.5 km downhill on private street to our house on the beach.

Who we are

We are 3, me Ebs (65, retired), a former businessman, my wife Ulrike (60, housewife) and our daughter Carina (22,working in Germany). Despite our age we consider us as still creative, curious, sportive and adventurous - always open to meet interesting people.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The beach with ideal quality of sand is surrounded by trees and rocks. The water is very clear because of sandy steep bottom. The access is for pedestrians from the urbanisation only.
With the exception of July and August the beach is always empty. The water temperature varies between 22C(summer) and 14C (winter). A rocky slope behind the house provides excellent protection against the sometimes strong northern winds.
At the entrance of the urbanisation there are a supermarket and two restaurants. On the neighbouring beaches you find two romantic beach bars, where you can also rent all types of sport equipment or take diving lessons. Power boating, however, is strictly forbidden.
The neighbours in the 5 other fishermens houses are from different European countries. English is widely spoken all along the Costa Brava.
Tossa, which can be reached also by a nice hiking trail through the forest, has a charming medieval character and is known for the many options for dining-out. Lloret on the other side is famous for its nightlife in the 14 large and the many smaller discotheques.
The hinterland is worth to discover! 110km to the ski-regions in the Pyrenees (up to 2.800m), 90km to the busy Barcelona and 80km to the French border.
Apart from all water sports golfing, horse riding, hiking, mountain biking - you will start in less then 15 minutes.
Furthermore, the hinterland is full of small medieval villages with a typical Catalan life not yet spoiled from the tourism.
