Our home

My home is a small 6 year old detached house with all the amenities required. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms; the main bedroom has its own bathroom and a balcony which is a real suntrap. There is air conditioning/warm air in the lounge and main bedroom, the second and third bedrooms each come equipped with 2 single beds. The shared pool is beautiful and well maintained, and very useable from around April until November, depending upon your constitution. Outside is a small patio/barbecue area, no gardens as such, but adequate space to sit out and enjoy an evening. The street is private and there is always ample parking. The house would give anyone who is considering a move to this part of Spain an opportunity to try the area before they commit to buying a property.

Property features

Who we are

  1. My wife and I are both police officers. This house has been the family holiday home for 4 years, we have 3 children, and I have maintained it to a high standard. I would treat any home that I occupy with the same respect as I would my own home and would expect the same of anyone else. I am flexible on dates.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The house is an an area known as Ciudad Quesada about 3 miles from the beautiful sandy beaches of Guardamar Del Segura. It is on an urbanisation made up of Europeans with a sizeable British contingent. There are a few shops and bars with a short walk, the main town centre is a 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk. There is a golf course on the urbanisation called La Marquesa which is popular with golfers of all standards. The beaches along this part of the coastline are white dunes and in a conservation area, they are clean and quiet even in the height of summer. There is a micro-climate largely brought about by salt lakes at La Mata nearby and many older people retire to this area for the health giving properties.
