Our home

We offer a lovely townhouse in Granada with great views over Granada, Sierra Nevada and part of the Alhambra, in a lovely square of the Albaicin. 2 Bedrooms (one with 3 individual beds and the other with a queen size bed), 2 bathrooms, full independent kitchen (microwave, oven, refrigerator, washing machine), dining room with sofa-bed, great living room with wooden ceiling and fantastic views. Small patio with a grapevine, great for summer. Heaters in every room and air conditioning in living room.
10 minute walk to the center of Granada, 2 minutes form shops, daily market and restaurants. Bus stop, 30 meters. Free parking.
Apart from the house in Granada that appears on the homeexchange web, we could also offer to combine that stay with a week or two during july in a house in Cabo de Palos (Murcia). The house has 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a great living room, two terraces, and a small garden.

Who we are

  1. We are a couple (40 and 39, both lawyers) with 4 children (a girl aged 2, and 3 boys aged 5, 6, 8), and we are looking for an exchange in next year´s school holidays, for 3 or 4 weeks.
We have friends living in Chichester and would like to find a house nearby. We plan to send the boys to day camp so they can learn some more English, and enjoy beautiful Sussex with our friends and our children (and play golf and sail, if the weather allows...).
We have only exchanged once, this last summer, with another couple with children in France, and it was a wonderful experience.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The square fo San Cristobal, where the house stands is dominated by the XVI century bell tower of San Cristóbal church (in its walls you can see some carved tones of muslim constructions that were there before). The square has no passing traffic, and although you can walk to the ceter of modern Granada you have a bus 50 m away, and the bus that takes you to the Alhamabra and also to the center is 300 m. away (and has a frequency of less than 10 mn. The albaicin, the oldest and most attractive neighborhood in Granada, retains its XIII century layout, a life and commerce of its own, and many of the most important sites of Granada. You have restaurants at less than 200 meters.
In the summer there are also great activities to be done in Sierra Nevada (40 minutes by car). Sevilla and Cordoba are around a 2 hour drive, Malaga 1 hour.
