Our home

Our home in the mountains is quiet and spacious.
Placed in the southern slope of a 7.000ft-high mountain, the sun is hot in the summer but the breeze is cool.
The house is fully equiped and we have a 4.000 sqft terrain for bbques and the children to play.
We enjoy specially our terrace with wonderful views over the mountains and the lake: dinner at dusk in the summer is a wonderful experience.
The location near Madrid is an ideal base for touring Spain.

Who we are

  1. We are a young couple in our middle 40s with two sons (6 and 3 years old). I am an architect but surprisingly i work in the recycling business and my wife is psychologist and works for a well-known insurance company.
We enjoy travelling and hiking. During the past 3 summers we have experienced 3 wonderful exchanges in Ireland and the UK and wish to keep exchanging with families from the islands.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The valley is well known for fishing, hiking, biking and all kind of sports. Ski resorts are within 15 miles.
There are also awesome historical monuments in the valley and around it. Madrid is less than 1 hour away as well as other historical towns like Segovia (awesome roman acueduct), Burgos (gothic cathedral), Avila (middle age walls)...
Gastronomy is a must in the area, with lots of first class restaurants of both traditional and nouvelle cuisine style.
