Our home

The apartment is on the second floor (with elevator) and has a balcony where I enjoy to have dinner in the summer. The balcony gives to a private playground and tennis court so you can forget about any traffic noise. The apartment is not big but extremely comfortable and ideally located. Not too warm in summer and not too cold in winter (though there is central heating and air-conditioning, I never use them). I work in Barcelona city center and conmute every day and it is very convenient.

Who we are

I'm a translator and have travelled to many countries on business and for holidays. I have had three home exchange experiences before and I am very satisfied with them. I'm quite flexible about dates. I would be interested in short exchanges (long weekends or one week) to the European capitals, and longer exchanges (1-3 weeks) in the States.

I offer a 55 sq meter appartment in a modern building in Castelldefels, seaside town 25 minutes away by train to Barcelona city center (you use same ticket as the one for the metro) or, taking the opposite direction, 10 minutes away to Sitges, famous seaside town. The apartment is in very good neighbourhood 5 minutes walk from Castelldefels townhall and railway station. The beach is a 15-minutes walk away (or you can also take the bus or train to get there). As a touristic town, the supermarkets (several very close to the apartment) are also open on Sundays.
