Our home

An unusual ten year old town house, situated in a rural Spanish village, surrounded by high mountains some topped with ancient castles. Imagine four shoe boxes piled on top of each other. The rear of each box backs into a hill and the front of each box is a large window with panoramic views over the high Sierras. Like I said ? unusual. On the top floor is a garage, large living room (converts into bedroom with two beds) and a sun terrace (the views from the terrace are stunning). Moving down there is a master bedroom with a king sized bed, a landing with wardrobes and an office with two computers and internet ADSL. Moving down again is a large farmhouse kitchen and a sitting area with an English language TV. Lastly down to a large laundry room with the normal facilities. There is a resident friendly cat!

Your neighbourhood

Castell de Castells is a mountain village with 500 inhabitants, mainly Spanish but with a sprinkling of United Kingdom retirees. It is located inland from the Costa Blanca 90 minutes from the local airport of Alicante. It is friendly, quaint, steeped in history with narrow streets almost impenetrable to the motor car. Visitors to its hotel and guest houses are mainly hikers, golfers and those seeking to be immersed in history. Many walking guide books available. Surprisingly for such a small village it has all the necessary amenities ? banks, supermarkets, bakers, butcher, bars, restaurants, doctor, and chemist ? all you really need for everyday living. \it is a very safe enviroment.
