Our home

Our apartment is cosy and very clean. We specially enjoy our big terrace, with superb sea views and a jacuzzi. The apartment has wooden floor. There is one bedroom with a king size bed, one bathroom and an open kitchen-living room. The sofa in the living room can be easily converted in another king size bed. Really cool in summer, due to its placement. If you travel with kids, we have lots of toys. Just imagine yourself relaxing in the terrace or enjoying some of the best beaches in Spain. We really love Carboneras and our house and are sure you will too!

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Carboneras is a town surrounded by Cabo de Gata Natural Reserve and has a long and beatiful beach. The beach has a long promenade, good for strolling along, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours and children playgrounds. In the area (Cabo de Gata) there are many wonderful coves and beaches, some of them considered among the best in Spain, due to their natural and unspoilt beauty.
To a walking distance from our house you can get to supermarkets, restaurants, shops, cafés and, of course , to the beach.
Carboneras is an excellent place for relaxing, but it is also full of life, with lots of good restaurants and tapas bars (you get one "tapa" free with your drink at the bars). It is also a top destination for diving and hiking. It is possible to rent canoes and kite-surf equipment in the beach.
There are some beatiful nearby towns to visit, such as Mojacar white village, Níjar, Almería, Sorbas, Lorca and Cartagena (wonderful Roman theater and forum). The city of Granada is at a 2 h drive. There you can visit La Alhambra palace, maybe the most beautiful monument in Spain. If you travel with kids or are keen on cinema, you can visit a Wild West Town (many Wild West films where made there) in Tabernas. In Roquetas de Mar there is an Aquarium and a Waterpark. In Vera there is another (biggest) waterpark. The nearest airports are: Almeria, Murcia, San Javier (Murcia) and Alicante.
