Our home

Our home is a modern apartment overlooking the gardens and swimming pool of the small, friendly residential complex in which it's set. It is light and spacious with a large living room, 2 good sized bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) and smaller but very well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. It has real wood flooring, and comes with parking facilities in the garage.

Who we are

We own two language schools in the area, where we both teach English during the school year. We usually return to England over the summer holidays (late June to early September), together with our six-year-old son Nicolas. From 2007 Ana, due at the end of February, will be joining us. We have been living on the 'green coast' of Spain for over fifteen years and love it.

Cangas de OnÃs is a small historic town situated next to the mountains of the Picos de Europa National Park and yet only 20 minutes from the spectacular Asturian coast with it's sandy coves and beaches.Set in a valley where two rivers, the Sella and the GueÃ±a, converge, it allows for a wide variety of adventure sports and other activities in a privileged natural environment. The area is renowned for its gastronomic offer at unbeatable value for money, from Michelin Star to typical Asturian cuisine, and is within easy driving distance of the cities of Oviedo(1hr), Gijon(1hr) and Santander (1hr 20mins)
