Our home

Our home is confortable, clean and quiet, located in a peaceful street, not far from the town centre. The kitchen is quite big and it is connected to the dinning-room with an open window. Both the kitchen and dining-room are open to the terrace-balcony, where you can relax, read or have lunch. We have plants in the balcony which make it cosy and more inviting. From here, you have a nice view of the southern hills.
The flat has 3 rooms: our daughter's room (a bed with a bed nest under it), our double bed room and a studio with the computer and where we do the ironing too. The three rooms face the nothern mountains. The flat is on the first floor and the garage is downstairs the ground floor, there's a lift in the house.
The decoration is quite "rustique", country like style.

Who we are

We are teachers in a High School, we have a daughter who is 11 years old. She studies traverse flute, ballet and plays basketball.
We love travelling and hiking, nature and countrside in general. We love music and reading too.
The weather here in summer is very good, usually hot and sunny but not too much. We recommed Berga to people who love nature and being quite out the main crowded turistic places.
We can be in touch via mail and we can then suggest the best things to do depending on the needs or wishes, we love being helpful.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our flat is located in a peaceful street with trees. It's not far from the centre and so this makes easy to walk everywhere. It's also near the country, so we usually go for a walk in the countryside from home. If you take the car, in 5 or 10 minutes you can easily park and hike up the mountains, which we always do.
Berga is a town in the pre Pyrenees, it has got about 16.000 inhabitants, and it has many facilities such as swimming-pools, tennis courts, small museums among others. There's a dam very near where you can bath or practise kayak (we have one in the garage which you can use, for 2 adults and a child), or you can just go hiking or cycling and discovering the many walking routes in the area (we have 3 bikes in the garage too).
Berga is only 1 hour away from Barcelona and other beach towns. Also, it takes about an hour to Andorra or France.
In summer, mainly July, there are Old Music Concerts in Berga and also our traditional dance, la sardana, can be seen in some squares. There are many mountain villages near here which deserve a visit: Gosol (where Picasso lived), Sant Llorenç de Morunys among many others.
