Our home

We offer a 190 m2 2-floor house, with private garden and swimming pool in Barcelona, 15-20 min. by tube from the city centre. This is a rather exceptional situation as people here usually live in apartments. On the ground floor, there are two living rooms, the dining room and the kitchen. On the first floor, two bedrooms with four beds are available, two bathrooms and one wc.

Who we are

We are a married couple in our late sixties and early fifties. I am university professor in Barcelona and my wife works for a cultural foundation. We travel with our youngest son (16), still at secondary school. We like classical music, art and traveling. We have had several home exchanges (London, Berlin, New York, Wien), prefering to spend our holidays in "old" cities more than in the countryside or near the beach.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Our house is situated in very quiet area, but only at a 8 min. walk from a tube station and bus stop. By public transport, you can reach the city centre in 15-20 min. A commercial area is at less than a 10 min. walk, with supermarkets, pharmacy, all kind of shops, bank branches, etc. We are at a short distance (500 m.) of the ring-road that allows you to drive to all destinations out from Barcelona without going through the city traffic.
