Our home

My home is comfortable, cosy, clean and very quiet. I live in a ground-floor apartment with a big terrace. There is a living room with a dining area and an open kitchen. There's a double bedroom with a double bed. The terrace is quite big (about 22m2) with a table and some chairs, a deckchair, a hammock and a barbecue.

Who we are

  1. I'm 53 years old and I work as a language and ICT consultant at the Ministry of Education and a professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). I speak several languages and I am a well-travelled person. This is my second home but I live here most of the time now. I'd like to go to the US and/or Canada this next summer 2018.

I am also interested in an exchange in winter (December-January) somewhere in South America or Asia. I will most likely be travelling solo.

I have exchanged my other home twelve times already and it's always been a great experience.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

My apartment is located in the northern part of one of the most vibrant neighbourhoods in Barcelona: Gracia. It's close to two different metro lines and to plenty of buses. It is in a very quiet street but just minutes away from a very lively area with plenty of shops and restaurants. It takes ten minutes to get to Plaça Catalunya, which is the heart of Barcelona and it's a 15 min walk to Parc Güell (Gaudi's Park). I am close to the Avinguda Tibidabo and Passeig de la Bonanova. There is a supermarket right on the other side of the street. Nice neighbours too.
