Our home

I am an artist with a unique living/working space in Barcelona. 7 blocks from Paseo de Gracia it is an oasis of peace and open space. A private courtyard/garden with a centenary linden tree in the center allows access to this ground floor home. One huge loft space with a two year old kitchen on one end, open living room/dining room, and two bedrooms, a tiny one for a child and a main skylit bedroom, with adjoining walk-in closet space. The main studio and office work space, a vast skylit loft, are in an adjoining building, communicate directly to the main living space of the house.

Who we are

I am a divorced 46 year old artist, I seek a long-term exchange in a similar place,as mine, aplace to work and live-in for a few months. I have a degree in architecture and comparative literature and my house includes a well-stocked library. Have never exchanged homes before, but have rented the place out for photo shoots and TV.

This is a pleasant, family oriented neighborhood at one edge of the Barcelona Eixample in Central Barcelona. Grocery shops and supermarkets all around and just a few blocks from the vast park in Montjuic, only a block away from Joan Miro park which houses a huge sculpture by the late artist.
