Our home

We offer a large apartment in the center of Barcelona. It's on the 4th floor of a 1950 building. It has two bedrooms (with queen size bed each) and one big dressing room. There is one living room and a small kitchen. And one bathroom and one separate WC with shower. It's a typical Barcelona apartment with wooden floor. We have a very good part time maid (not included in the interchange but optional, not expensive) and on-site concierge. Everything in the city is at a walking distance. And, if preferred, there are buses and subway very near (1 min.).

Who we are

I'm a 44 year old male university planner in a Barcelona university and my boyfriend is a 50 year old writer. We both love travelling and meeting new people, cultures and places.
For May 2007 we are looking an apartment in Vancouver because I will be visiting UBC and SFU for two weeks. (For other dates of the year we are open to other locations.)
The apartment we offer here is our city place only used in winter time. For the rest of the year we live in an apartment in Sitges, a very nice small city on the beach (30 min. train from downtown Barcelona). We could also interchange this apartment if interested. Because we have two apartments. It's not necessary to interchange simultaniously.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The neighbourhood is called Eixample. It is the most typical area of Barcelona. It is where all the modernist (Gaudi) buildings and shopping area are located. Sagrada Failia Temple (Gaudi)is in this area.
