Our home

Our home is situated in a lovely Andalusian village. We have two bedrooms - 1 with King Size bed and the other with either 2 singles beds or 1 Superking bed. There is fully tiled bathroom with shower on the first floor and a shower room/w/c on the ground floor. There is a terrace on the 1st floor. On the ground floor we have a comfortable lounge/diner with Sat.TV and double doors opening onto a tiled patio garden which is surrounded by beautiful bougainvillea in the summer. There is a large patio table and chairs for 6 people + barbeque. Fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, microwave oven and hob.

Who we are

  1. Gordon and I have a small business in the UK and try to spend as much time as possible here in Spain - we love the Spanish approach to life. We are in our early 60's and have two dogs and a very old sunloving cat. We are returning to the UK in August, but would like to spend a month in France on the way back. We also have a one bedroom apartment in the UK on the South Coast (Bognor Regis) which we could also exhange during the summer .

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Alameda is a large village in the province of Malaga (about 45 mins from Malaga airport). It is well placed for exploring the beautiful region of Andalusia. The Historic city of Sevilla is about one and half hours drive and Granada is approximately one hour, as is the ancient city of Cordoba. The village has many restaurants and bars and is surrounded by glorious countryside. During the summer months the local swimming pool (5 minutes walk) is open, and a stroll into the village at night is recommended as this is when the village really comes alive and you can really enjoy the laid back Spanish life.
