Our home

Our home is surrounded by beautiful mountains and the oldest vineyards in South Africa (5 minutes walk). It is very central to the Cape Town CBD, beaches and mountains. It is fully carpeted and has all the mod cons. It is decorated to a high level. We also have a pool. There is an additional cottage that sleeps two people on the property that can be added to the exchange. That makes a total of for bedrooms and 4/12 bathrooms.

All that you need is provided, including laundry, and a maid service is available that you can pay for separately. We would also consider exchanging a car for the right swap.

Located on a quiet street, our villa style home has been completely updated in the last year. It is an extremely bright home that has three large and comfortable bedrooms, 31/2 modern bathrooms, a formal living room/ dining room, and a further living room (snug) for chilly winter months. The well-equipped kitchen is completely modern with oven and microwave, espresso coffee etc. and the bathrooms were recently remodeled. The house includes a laundry, wi-fi and high speed internet, a cable TV package, a large collection of original art, HDTV entertainment centre, two fireplaces, and furnished patio and built in braai for our sunny Vape Town summers. The house sits in a beautiful garden on a tree-lined street. Car exchange considered. We could also offer an exchange at our holiday home in a remote village called Cape Infanta on the Eastern Cape coast.

Great location for all actvities in and around the beautiful city of Cape Town. Central to Southern suburbs business hub and easy access to Cape Town CBD.

The house is close to some of the finest wine estates in South Africa, including walking distance to Groot Constantia, Klein Constantia and Buitenverwachting wine estates.

It’s also close to a variety of wonderful restaurants including organic and local fare.

Very good access to all of Cape Town’s attractions and highways. It is a 20 minute drive to Muizenberg and Llandudno beaches. You can go for hikes and cycling on the local green belts and cycle tracks in and around Constantia, Tokai forest and Silver-mine Lake.

Cool breakfast spots like Chardonnay Deli and the Nest, and many other great eateries within 2km’s.

We have bikes and surfboards which can be used. Hop on Hop off bus at Groot Constantia Wine Estate is just 1km away, but we would recommend Uber or car rentals if you wish to explore the area.

Who we are

  1. We’re a family of two fifty somethings, and a daughter of 19 and son of sixteen. We live in Constantia Cape Town and also have a holiday home in Cape Infanta.

  2. Roy owns a multinational business, and Gail runs the home and properties (and holiday swaps!)

  3. We love the outdoors, beaches, active lifestyle and adventure. We have three cats and two dogs, that would appreciate care should we swap, but they could be boarded. We are looking for a home swap in a beach location in Auckland in December 2018 /Jan 2019
