Our home

Our home is a beautiful Timber home with huge character. A place of peace and tranquility where friends and family love to spend time and create memories. Greg my partner built it 10 years ago. There are 3 large Bedrooms and sleeps 6 comfortably. We dont mind putting an extra matress for small children. Our main bedroom is upstairs with a double bed and open plan bathroom. Leading off that a bedroom with two single beds and a washbasin. Both rooms upstairs have a small deck off each.Downstairs we have another bedroom with a full bathroom, shower, bath and toilet and the bedroom has double doors opening onto the deck. Also downstairs the kitchen, a scullery/pantry, open plan kitchen, lounge and diningroom. We have double French doors leading out of all bedrooms and living areas onto a large deck that increases the living space (which I have not included in our 200 plus sqm) with a large braai area and enough seating for family and friends. There are stairs down to a lower deck with a swimming pool.Full bouquet DSTV and wireless internet.
Our home is very private and cannot be seen into by neighbours. It's surrounded by indigenous trees and overlooks the mountains and a indigenous woodland. Many-many Birds species are part of our daily experiences also views of buck in the woodland below.

Who we are

  1. Greg and I have 4 children of which 3 have already left the nest and studying and working. Our eldest son is a professional golfer, the 2nd one runs a branch of the family business, our daughter goes to Silwood Chef school in Cape Town and the youngest boy is only 8. We love travelling and experiencing the tastes, cultures and lifestyles of different nations and try to instill the fulfillment of travel to the children. Our home is also available for rental purposes. Decent accommodation being the most expensive part of our travels brought us to joining the houseswop fraternity. We've had so many interested emails over the past year and did our first house swop in January 2013. We're open to anywhere on the planet that's warm, beachy with friendly people and good food...even in our own good ole SA.
