Our home

Our home is on the top 12 Decades hotel floor of a residential building in the vibrant and innovative Maboneng Precinct in Johannesburg. Surrounded by creative industry, restaurants and the transforming street culture of this city, its an integrated living experience where diversity is part of the every day. Close by are the Museum of African Design, pool and pool side cafe, major sports grounds, a Sunday market, and other city attractions. The building has an independent cinema, a small active theatre, an alternative shopping bazaar and a quiet rooftop with spectacular city sunset views. The apartment swap comes with artist studio opportunities close by, rooftop boxing, car use possibilities, an organised guided tour of the city and an extensive network of creative and alternative people entrenched in our neighbourhood. The home itself is a serviced high-ceiling industrial style 150-squaure-meter apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen dining room and lounge. It is sun facing and has a view of the city skyline.

We do have a black cat that lives in the apartment, but is taken care of by the person servicing the apartment.
We are currently renovating a little and need to update the photos with our current new coat of paint and additional furniture etc.
