Our home

The house is a log home with thatched roof in country style. Inside
we made use of country style furniture (some very old - antiques) and
the house has a warm atmosphere with its wooden floors. The two storeys
are connected with a short flight of stairs. The house overlook the
horse shoe shaped Great Brak River in the middle of the famous Garden
Route. The kitchen has a built in barbeque and a lovely place for just
relaxing on our own or for having friends over. We are semi-retired and
love to travel. Rest of the house is friendly and clean with good
quality equipment. There is also a flatlet with all necessary equipment
on the property - sleeps 4.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Great Brak River is situated in the middle of the Garden Route with
Mossel Bay only 25 km to the south, and George 30 km to the north on
the N2 highway. We are only 75 km from the famous Knysna - an easy
drive on the highway. The town itself (GBR) is a picturesque village
and in the most beautiful part of sunny South Africa. GBR is on the coastal route (Indian Ocean) 400 km from Cape Town.
