Our home

PLEASE NOTE: WE HAVE FINALISED EXCHANGE FOR 2008. Only make contact for 2009 and beyond.

Our sunny home has a large, open plan living area with views of a park and mountains. The main living area has wooden floors, a large fireplace, a wonderful kitchen and glass sliding doors that open up onto a patio and garden. Our dining room table seats ten people comfortably.

The main bedroom (1 of 3 plus a study)has french doors opening onto the garden, and has an open plan bathroom en suite.

The home is in a quiet area, adjacent to a leafy park. Although we are in a safe neighbourhood, the home has an advanced security system for total peace of mind.

Who we are

  1. We're a family of three plus our dog, Bruno. Steve and I have been married for 4 and a half years. Two years ago we spent 3 months travelling around the world, visiting weird and wonderful places, with backpacks on our backs. We visited mountain villages in India, trekked in the Himalayas of Nepal, basked in the sun in Fiji, and hiked in patagonia. We love that kind of thing! BUT...now we have a beautiful little daughter, Ella, who is 8 months old, so we're looking for a little more 'normal' holiday destination!

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

We have a view of Table Mountain from our front garden. The famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens are about 10 minutes drive away. Also, 10 minutes drive from our home is the forest where you can enjoy wonderful walking trails.

We are about 20 minutes from the famous Muizenberg beach, although we prefer other beaches like Camps bay and Clifton, which are both about 30 minutes drive.

We're 10 minutes drive from Groot Constantia vineyards. For the energetic, there is mountain biking trails and great surfing nearby.

To get into the city - to places like the V&A Waterfront - will take you about 20 minutes drive.

To get to the Cape Winelands - places like Franchhoek - you're looking at about an hours drive.
