Our home

A delightful, comfortable and well appointed townhouse in gated complex of just 32 units. Full alarm system. Upstairs has 1 x double bedroom en-suite with shower. 1 x single bedroom, study and bathroom. Downstairs; entrance hall; guest-cloaks; kitchen, lounge. A small private patio with table and chairs, colourful bougainvillea and bright geraniums make a pretty picture; this is where I spend a lot of time, reading, relaxing and enjoying the company of family & friends.

Property features

Who we are

  1. Having family in the UK and South Africa, I enjoy spending time in both countries. I am retired and, therefore, relatively flexible as to dates. The complex does not really lend itself to children, so only adults please. I am open to offers for either houses or apartments and would consider a long exchange of up to one year if suitable. Most of the time I would be on my own, with my family visiting me for short periods. Thank you for visiting my home...

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

Kirstenhof is situated in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town close to Tokai & Constantia, both wine growing areas, it is also an extremely good base to get anywhere in Cape Town. Beautiful beaches are not far away in Muizenberg, Fish-Hoek and Simonstown. Constantia and Hout Bay can offer wine-routes, amazing mountain scenery, and a working harbour with fresh fish to be bought from the local fishermen, as well as boat trips to Seal Island. Approx. 20 mins drive by car would take you to the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens - definitely worth a visit - for the fit mountain walkers there are various routes that would take you up on to the Table Mountain range...
