Our home

Our home offers spacious and easy living in a hilltop setting on the Cape Peninsula, just 30 mins from Cape Town. The house has four bedrooms, one has a queen size double bed, while the children's rooms can be converted into double rooms with two single beds each, there is another single room and a study which can acommodate another bed. There is a living area connected to the one bedroom with its own bathroom, kitchenette and living room allowing a small family to live here seperate from the rest of the guests. There is a large family bathroom with shower and bath, one ensuite bathroom with shower. Our living room has a fireplace for chilly winter evenings (although Cape Town is quite temperate), a large den with TV/playstation/DVD/computers etc and a fully equipped kitchen. Outside we have an entertainment deck with mountain and sea views and a swimming pool which can be fitted with a safety net.

Where is it?

Your neighbourhood

The town of Fish Hoek is quite renowned for its safe sandy beach while being close to many popular tourist destinations such as the nature reserve at Cape Point, Kalk Bay harbour village and award-winning vineyards. It takes about 30-40 min to Cape Town central with a car which would be recommendable for getting around. Train and bus connections are quite good and regular. The neighbourhood is very safe and people have lived in the area for many years and are very friendly. There are beautiful walks and nature spots within a 5km radius as well as a selection of beaches for surfing, sailing, kite-surfing and kayaking.
